Thessaloniki, thrid quarter of the 14th century. from Vlatodon Monastery, Thessaloniki Six scenes from Christ's Passion are represented in the three registers: the Last Supper and the Washing of the Disciples' feet in the upper one, the Agony in the Garden and the Betrayal in the middle, and the Flagellation and the Elkonenos (Christ being dragged to be crucified) in the lower one. Icons like this are rare.
